Jes Growing Up

I came up with the idea for this blog a while ago. I guess it's time to follow through with it!

The plan for for this blog was to use it to document my life as The Mr. and I begin our journey as an engaged and newly home-owning couple. I think I'll continue with that, but the plan is to ultimately make this blog public to any friends and family that may wish to keep up with us. Hurrah!

So here is what this blog will consist of:

• General Life Posts: Basically exactly what that says. Posts updating on what is happening with our lives outside of the house and wedding planning. These are the kinds of posts I have always done in previous blogs and will continue to do in this one because I am just that rambly and narcissitic!
• House Posts: For those who may not know, The Mr. and I bought a house at the very end of January! Since then we have slowly but surely been making all kinds of changes and improvements and I can't wait to document what we've done so far! Someone remind me to take more pictures as we go...
• Wedding Posts: Another one for those who may not know(though I would be shocked...) The Mr. and I got engaged at the end of November and are very excited to be getting married in May of 2014. In all honestly, not all that much has been done in this regard other than setting our location and a few details but that leaves lots of room for me to blog along the way!

Who knows? Maybe I'll add more along the way but for now... this is what I'm thinking and planning on doing. I hope to update a few times a week with whatever is going on because this coming year is going to be a crazy one full of all sorts of hectic and crazy. I can't wait!

Note: The layout of this blog is under MAJOR construction.  Buttons dont work and whatnot... bear with me for the time being! Don't be surprised if you see it completely change a lot in the beginning. I'll get it sorted out!
